What’s even better than the wide variety of everything gardening that you will find here is their customer service! Most of my gardens are made up of perennials, annuals, grasses and trees from Hollandia

I've shopped plenty of garden centers, and Hollandia is in a league of its own. Everyone around here already knows they carry the largest selection of flowers in the area β€” and the nursery especially is incredible, a gigantic selection with the quality to match. But this review is really about the people, because that's what I'll remember most. I was tackling my very first garden β€” a 20-by-3-foot bed that needed 60 specific plants, a mix of annuals and perennials β€” and I honestly had no idea where to start. A wonderful associate named Donna (I hope I'm remembering her name right) walked the entire nursery with me. I told her what I needed, she led me right to each plant and helped me work out the correct quantities. We filled four carts, and her positive attitude never wavered for a second. At one point I'd accidentally loaded up a fifth cart with plants I didn't actually need and felt terrible about it β€” she just smiled, said "no problem at all," and kept right on helping like it was nothing. Here's what really blew me away: as we filled each cart, Donna ran them up to the register, so by the time I finished shopping, everything was already rung up. I was checked out in about th

Bill was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during our visit. We came in wanting to build a pollinator-friendly garden, and instead of just pointing us toward whatever was trendy, he took the time to explain the actual differences between native plants, cultivars, and pollinator-friendly ornamentals in a way that was easy to understand. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtfully he explained that pollinators recognize plants by things like shape, color, scent, and flower structure - and that whether a cultivar is useful to pollinators really depends on the specific plant. It was such a nuanced, practical explanation and honestly helped us understand pollinator gardening in a much more realistic way. You can tell he genuinely cares about ecology and educating customers instead of just selling plants. We left with a beautiful mix of plants we’re excited about, and we learned a lot in the process. Really appreciated his patience and expertise.
